Long-term care is beneficial to many individuals suffering from a variety of chronic health care conditions. Our team is available 24 hours a day to provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as dining and bathing.
Residents enjoy beneficial socialization through our interactive, stimulating activities program. They also enjoy our facility’s many amenities, indoors and out, such as our gardens, family rooms, and dining programs.
For families who are providing care for a loved one at home, respite care is available for stays of three days to a few weeks. Respite care gives family caregivers an opportunity to relax, tend to personal needs, enjoy a vacation, or catch up with family and friends. Individuals who stay with us enjoy the same benefits as our long-term care residents and benefit from the social interaction and quality care we provide.
For those who have been diagnosed with terminal illness, we also provide compassionate in-house hospice care. To best support our patients on their road to recovery, we offer telemedicine. This cutting-edge technology enables us to provide live physician coverage during evenings, weekends and holidays when your regular physician may not be available.
Using state-of-the-art equipment and supported by a nurse who is trained in telemedicine support, a doctor can meet with you in a virtual visit from the comfort of your room. During this doctor’s visit, you and the doctor can communicate through the screen and see each other and the doctor has full access to your vital signs.
The telemedicine doctor will collaborate with your primary physician and even call your physician after hours if needed so that they can work together for your best outcome.
Through telemedicine, we are using innovative technology to provide the highest level of care to our patients. This program allows us to make sure that you receive care in the most timely fashion, and that your medical needs are quickly addressed to avoid complications that could cause an unnecessary return to the hospital that could further compromise your health.
