The Gardens at Monroe is more than a place to receive excellent skilled nursing and rehabilitation care. For members of the community for whom 24-hour care is needed, The Gardens at Monroe is home.

Long-term care is beneficial to many individuals suffering from a variety of chronic health care conditions. Our team is available 24 hours a day to provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as dining and bathing.

Residents enjoy beneficial socialization through our interactive, stimulating activities program. They also enjoy our facility’s many amenities, indoors and out, such as our gardens, family rooms, and dining programs.

For families who are providing care for a loved one at home, respite care is available for stays of three days to a few weeks. Respite care gives family caregivers an opportunity to relax, tend to personal needs, enjoy a vacation, or catch up with family and friends. Individuals who stay with us enjoy the same benefits as our long-term care residents and benefit from the social interaction and quality care we provide.

For those who have been diagnosed with terminal illness, we also provide compassionate in-house hospice care. An interdisciplinary team of registered nurses, social workers, certified nursing aides, therapists, spiritual care counselors, and volunteers work together to attend to the needs of individuals and their families to create an environment that honors their remaining time together.
